Massage

As is known, massage is a procedure that consists of pressing, rubbing or gently and rhythmically hitting (with adequate intensity) certain areas of the body; mainly muscle mass. This is done for different purposes:

    • Decontracting massage: this is a deep muscle massage that is carried out to give relief to the involuntary, long-lasting or permanent contraction of one or more muscle groups. This type of massage is aimed mainly at adolescents, young people, adults and older adults who do strong physical work, for people who sit or stand for a long time during the day and for athletes.

    • Relaxation massage: this is a series of deep but gentle movements, accompanied by oils, which help to relax the mind and body. It is often accompanied by music therapy. Highly recommended for people who suffer from insomnia, stress and who generally find it difficult to relax and quiet their mind.

    • Neck, back and shoulder massage: this is a massage with decontracting and relaxing characteristics, focused exclusively on these three parts of the body. It is aimed especially at people who remain seated all the time working in front of a computer, laptop or tablet.

    • Osteomassage: this is a personal technique that I have developed thanks to experience. It combines osteopathy (a system of techniques aimed at relieving pain, restoring functions and promoting the health and well-being of the body) and Mixtec sobada, as well as Vietnamese massage on the face and shins. It is recommended for people with chronic conditions, as it activates the central nervous system and regulates all organic functions. Not suitable for people with osteoporosis.

    • Hot stone massage: this is a traditional massage accompanied by the application of river stones at different temperatures, on different parts of the body (energetic points), such as the spine, forehead, abdomen, hands and fingers of the feet. This is done in order to facilitate the flow of vital energy and alleviate physical and emotional disorders. The technique usual concludes with a relaxing massage with oils. It is aimed at all types of people, especially those who suffer from stress. Benefits: calms muscle and menstrual pain, relieves back pain, stimulates metabolism. It is contraindicated for people with varicose veins and open wounds.

    • Facial massage: this is a manual technique on the face, with very delicate movements and light passes in the neck area, which activate certain reflex points with a favorable impact on the whole body. It is accompanied by special creams whose function is to hydrate, tone and restore vitality to the skin. Not recommended for people with inflammation of the face, recent wounds, bruising on the face or scars from recent surgeries, tumors or cysts in the area, infectious skin diseases, such as fungi or lupus, with allergic dermatitis or burns, or in case of deep acne.

    • Mexican holistic massage: its function is comprehensive, since it covers the different massage techniques described above. It is a personalized sequence, directed to the well-being of the four bodies: physical, mental, emotional and etheric-spiritual. Suitable for everyone (all ages). Ideal for maintaining an optimal state of health. It is recommended to receive this, once a month.

    • Sports massage: vigorous massage that prepares the tissues for competitive sport. It is preventive as well as useful for the recovery of injuries, both caused in training and in competition. Suitable for people of all ages who practice any type of sport.

GENERAL CONTRAINDICATIONS to all types of massage: massage is not recommended for acute infections, metastatic cancer, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, tumor conditions, infectious skin conditions, fractures, hemophilia, and hemorrhages.
